Movie Screening-"UDAAN"
This event was a popular one - a free screening of the Hindi movie ‘Udaan’. More than 180 people turned up for it and none of them returned disappointed. The movie set in a small Indian town, revolved around the relationship between a father and his college-going son. A perfect choice, this movie had an inspiring theme about letting your dreams fly high and working hard toward your goal. It encourages today’s youth to fight all the social barriers (that exist in a conservative Indian society) to strive to achieve their dreams. There were English subtitles for those who didn’t understand Hindi and it seemed that the audience enjoyed the screening and each other’s company quite a bit.
There were also free snacks for everyone during the intermission. Everyone seemed to thoroughly enjoy themselves and NTU ISCS feels like we have had a good start to our year!
